Bose Ogulu, mother of Afrobeats star Burna Boy, has celebrated her 35th wedding anniversary with her husband Samuel Ogulu.

The talent manager and businesswoman took to her Instagram page to mark the occasion on Monday.

She also shared several throwback photos from their traditional and white wedding ceremonies.

“Thanking God for 35 years since we each said I do and till death do us part,” she wrote.

“Thanking God for the journey, the rollercoaster ride, and the joy of watching the three musketeers we have been appointed care takers of. Happy Anniversary to Us.”

Her daughter Nissi Ogulu, also a singer, described them as her “favourite couple in the universe”.

“They don’t make  them any better than you both. Thank you for the example you set. Love you infinity,” she commented.

Burna Boy also celebrated his parents, describing them as “my heroes” in a post via his Instastory.

Ogulu is a daughter of the music critic Benson Idonije, who was the manager of Fela Kuti, the late Afrobeat legend.

She is the founder of Spaceship Collective, the holding company to Spaceship Records and Spaceship Publishing.

Ogulu managed Burna’s music career until 2014 and then became his manager again from 2017 onwards, gaining the nickname Mama Burna.
