Burna Boy, Nigerian Afro-fusion star, has apologized for kicking a fan who, according to him, tried to rob him while performing on stage in Zambia.
A video surfaced on social media showing the moment when the ‘Ye’ singer kicked a fan during his concert in Zambia.
In the video, Burna Boy can be seen performing very close to the edge of the stage as fans reach out to touch him.
Things, however took a shocking dimension when he kicked one of the concert-goers.
“Regardless of what was going on here, nothing justifies Burna boy’s irrational kicking of a fan. He could have handled it better,” a Twitter user wrote.

Reacting to the reactions that trailed the incident, Burna Boy apologized and said that the concert-goer in question was no fan but only a random person who severally attempted robbing him while he was on stage.
“I’m sorry about how it looks but this person continuously tried to rob me on stage. It was like the 10th attempt to do it after telling him several times to stop,” he said.
“This wasn’t a fan. Apologies for ho it looks but it’s not the case at all. I appreciate all my fans.”
