Joachim Iroko, the trader who named his dog ‘Buhari’, has been released after fulfilling his bail conditions.

He was granted a N50, 000 bail on Monday by a magistrate court in Sango Ota, Ogun state.
Unable to immediately post bail, Iroko was forced to spend the last three days in Ibara prisons, Abeokuta.
Victor Oyeleke, spokesman of the Ogun state command, Nigeria prisons service, was reported to have confirmed Iroko’s release.

“The man has been released this morning from Ibara Prisons”, Oyeleke said.
“The accused was released around 10am when the Reproduction Warrant was brought from the Court, indicating that his bail conditions have been perfected”, he added.
