Bovi Ugboma, the Nigerian comedian cum actor, says he recently turned down marriage proposals from three actresses.
In a recent Instagram post, Bovi disclosed that he was offered “marriage for a year” by the actresses.
The comedian said he was approached at the 12th edition of the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) which was held over the weekend.
Bovi said he declined the marriage proposals because the offers “came with responsibility”.
“Last night @afriff, three actresses offered me marriage for a year,” he said.
“I turned them down because the offers came with responsibility”.

He, however, did not mention their names or provide more details about the encounters.
Reacting to the post, Sharon Ooja, an actress, told Bovi to inform his admirers that she is his wife’s bodyguard.
“Look at my guy, my own friend! Tell those actresses I am Kris’ bodyguard, I go meet them for streets,” Ooja wrote in the comment section.
Bovi is married to Kris Asimonye Ugboma. Their union is blessed with three children — David, Elena and Chuchu Ugboma.
In August, the comedian said he and his wife renewed their wedding vows to each other.
“Vows renewed. Officiating ministers – mariners,” he wrote on Instagram.
