Blaqbonez, Nigerian rapper, has come under fire for taking a dig at Yerins, ex-BBNaija housemate, following his exit from the show.

The 27-year-old medical doctor was evicted from the show alongside Beatrice and Niyi on Sunday after they scored the lowest votes.

Shortly after Yerins’ eviction, the rapper had described his stint on the show as a “major loss,” citing his 4,000 Twitter followers at the time.

“Mans left big brother house with 4k followers, thats a major L my g,” he had written on Twitter.

But his remark did not go down well with many Twitter users who called him out for making “fun of other people’s downfall.”

“Remove the speck from your eyes before you try removing another person’s own Emeka! You’ve been an upcoming artist since 2012 focus on that L werey,” a user had tackled him.

“Na una type dey use mental health do defence. You sef dey shame person? You no even get d kind accomplishment person fit use do inspiration for him career. You wey new kids on the block dey meet for road leave behind. Small time now, na to dey promote your song under people’s tweet,” another user wrote.

Amid the backlash, the singer, whose real name is Emeka Akumefule, fired back at his critics in several follow-up posts.

“N**gas are pressed because I said a man took an L, this stan culture gatta be the dumbest sh*t of all time, grown ass people fighting on behalf of someone who would never give a f**k about you,” he wrote.

The ‘Sex Over Love’ crooner wondered why those criticising him could not save the reality TV star from being evicted if they truly love him as they claimed.

“You all loved him so much why didn’t you vote?” he queried.

“Instead of you to stan Elon Musk that’s championing electric cars, you dey here dey fight for who left big brother house after two mins. Stupid.”
