A video wherein Blaqbonez, the rapper, appears to be mimicking Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2023 election, has surfaced online.

On December 5, Tinubu spoke at the Chatham House in the United Kingdom.

Addressing the media, the former Lagos governor talked about his plan for Nigeria and also answered questions on the controversy surrounding his age and refusal to attend debates.

He, however, asked some persons on his team, including Femi Gbajabiamila, speaker of the house of representatives, and Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna, to answer questions on his behalf.

His action elicited reactions on social media, with many users questioning his decision to not answer all the questions himself.

In the now-viral clip, Blaqbonez was seen in an interview session. He was asked to address some of the issues raised in ‘Young Preacher’, his latest album.

“In ‘Youg Preacher’ album, you touched some deep topics. Can you touch on the relationship between your dad and your mum? You also spoke on the state of your bank account and not trying to impress people…what inspired that level of vulnerability for you?” the interviewer asked.

In his response, the rapper asked two of his team members to answer the questions instead.

“As regards the state of the relationship between my mum and my dad… I came with DJ Xquisite, I believe he will be able to answer that, and about the state of my bank account, and what inspired that level of vulnerability you know, I came with my producer, Ramoni,” he replied.

While his team members were answering the questions on his behalf, the ‘Back in Uni’ crooner was seen shaking his hands — in what seemed to be a mockery of Tinubu.

This is not the first time the rapper will be aiming a dig at the former governor of Lagos.

On December 2, Blaqbonez shared a video wherein Tinubu was playing down concerns about his fitness to run for the presidency.
