American country singer Blake Shelton has been named the 2017 ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ by People’s Magazine.
Shelton made a name for himself as a coach on NBC’s hit series, ‘The Voice’ and now he has another title to his name, one he can’t seem to believe is his luck.
👀🔥😍 @BlakeShelton is this year's #SexiestManAlive! And most importantly, he 'can't wait' to stick it to his fellow #TheVoice judge (and former SMA) @AdamLevine. 😂 https://t.co/LtQ2q8QSkU pic.twitter.com/g7IilIXzxA

Reacting to the title, Shelton expressed surprise at being chosen to join the league of sexy men the magazine has endorsed.
He said: “Y’all must be running out of people. Like, wow, we’re down to somebody who is somewhat symmetrical.”
The 41-year-old said Gwen Stefani, his girlfriend of two years, convinced him to accept the honour, which typically comes with bragging rights and a fair amount of teasing in Hollywood.
“She goes, ‘Listen to me, you’re going to regret this for the rest of your life if you don’t take this gift and just live in the moment,” Shelton said of Stefani.
