Omashola Oburoh, the former Big Brother Naija housemate, has hinted that he may be battling depression.
The reality TV star took to his Instagram page on Monday to share an image of a piece of paper sprinkled with droplets of tears.
In the post, Omashola disclosed that he is “lonely in a world surrounded by people”. He also lamented the “plenty pressure” he is being faced with.
He added that although he is keeping it cool, he is “slowly reaching a breaking point”.
“They say in your youth, depression is mostly peer pressure and the strife to not want to be left behind. In old age, depression is a bucket full of regrets, and it is worse than the former,” the model wrote.
“Thank God I’m still young but plenty pressure man dey face. I believe in myself normally based on who I be, and it is me and my team till the wheels fall off, but right now ehn, only God fit understand. I’m lonely in a world surrounded by people. Trying to keep my cool but slowly reaching my breaking point.”
Omashola was one of the finalists of BBNaija season four. During his stint in the 2019 BBNaija show, he won the hearts of fans with his street-smartness and hyper-activeness.
