Adekunle Olopade, the Big Brother Naija(BBNaija) season seven housemate, is set to publish a book titled ‘It Is Not An Ex-cuse’.
The reality star announced his first official project after BBNaija via a Twitter post on Monday.
He said after two years of putting the book together, he feels now is the right time to publish it.
The book, according to the reality star, is an ode to the “ones we once love” and to days “we have spent silently being in love but not being together”.
An ode is a poem addressing the writer’s thoughts about a particular person or subject.
“After 2 years, it finally feels like the right time to release this. First official project post the Big Brother house. More details coming soon, stay tuned. Adekunle’s book release. #ThisIsNotAnExcuse,” he wrote.

In another post, Adekunle revealed he designed the book himself.
“By the way guys, I designed everything (the book) by myself,” he wrote.
The digital marketing consultant was the third runner-up of the just concluded 2022 BBNaija show.
This stretches the list of BBNaija ex-housemates that have written a book.
Last year, Liquorose announced the launch of the book she wrote during BBNaija isolation. The book was later launched on her birthday this year.
In 2020, Ike disclosed his plan to write a book about his relationship with Mercy Eke, winner of the 2019 edition of BBNaija.
