There was tension in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) house on Friday as Pere Egbi damaged a wall while venting his anger at Doyin during a heated clash.
The drama started on Thursday night when Biggie’s parrot “exposed” Doyin’s gossip about Pere, Cross, and Kim Oprah.
The parrot also revealed that Doyin had called Pere a ‘weakling’ — a claim she vehemently denied, arguing that her words were twisted.
On Friday, Doyin alleged that Pere had told her that Cross confessed to liking Nengi, a former BBNaija housemate.
She also said Pere questioned why Cross was pursuing Kim when he was with another love interest.
Pere denied having such a conversation with her. But Doyin insisted he did, repeatedly labeling him a “liar”.
Pere became furious with Doyin and confronted her in the dressing room, daring her to repeat her accusation.
Doyin once again called him a liar and challenged him to hit her if he wished. In his anger, Pere punched the wall, causing it to break.
It took the intervention of other housemates like Neo and Cross to prevent the situation from escalating.
As of now, Big Brother has not taken any action against Pere.
It remains to be seen what sanctions may be outlined in the house’s rule book regarding damages.
The BBNaija All Stars season commenced on July 23. It will end on October 1.
The winner of this season will receive a cash prize of N120 million, the highest ever in the history of Big Brother Naija.
