The 2020 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show is set for its first weekend party holding tonight.
The fifth season of the show, which started on Sunday, has witnessed several dramas already as the battle for the N85 million grand prize heats up.
From shocking revelations, flared tempers among housemates, COVID-19 awareness challenge to Friday’s keenly contested games, the ‘Lockdown’ edition of the show has maintained its usual flow despite the threat earlier posed by the pandemic.
With the first Saturday party few hours away, the possibility of more dramas and headlining issues occurring are likely than not.
In a blog post, organisers of the show revealed the party would be graced by Osabuohien Osaretin, a record producer better known as Sarz.
Also enlisted for the much-awaited event is Stanley Omah Didia, a singer better known as Omah Lay.
“Big Brother Naija Lockdown’s first-ever party is going to be lit with Sarz and Omah Lay bringing their sounds to the House this weekend,” the post read.
“Although we’ve seen the housemates dance during workouts and impromptu sessions when they had music blaring, we haven’t seen them in a party scene with Guinness in their hands. Expectations are running high about what they have planned for the party.”
Saturday party is an integral part of the show aimed at entertaining the housemates. It is characterised by dancing and other activities that further bond the housemates together.

It saddens me to say that our highly rated Sarz disappointed us all. But why was Omah Lay absent?
