The entertainer took to his Instagram post page on Monday to speak on depression and mental health.

AY said rather than seek validation on social media, people should focus on building relationships in real life.

“It’s time to stop seeking validation on social media. No matter d truth or lies about u or your personality, those who love u will still love u,” he wrote.

The comedian said it is important to create a balance when disseminating information on social media, adding that bloggers feed on negative information to gain more relevance.

“We need to set boundaries and be mindful of what we share or partake on social media. Balance is key. This is a place where people fly with available information,” he said.

“Bloggers will forever go with them relevance and trends. There is no respect or empathy. People seem to think the more negative positions they take, the more relevant they become.”
