Jesse Jagz has demanded an apology from Davido following a heated exchange on social media that escalated from musical banter into personal attacks.

The conflict began on Wednesday after Davido posted on X: “I go use Amapiano yenk you”.

Jagz replied in the comments with a terse, “we don tire,” sparking a rapid-fire war of words between the two on the platform.

The dispute intensified when Davido retaliated with personal allegations, accusing Jagz of drug use and asserting that he could “buy” his life.

Jagz responded, in a series of now-deleted tweets, by urging Davido to be “respectful,” countering that no one can “buy life”.

He also pushed back against the drug claim, stating that they both smoke. The rapper then criticised Davido’s artistry, labelling him a “wack musician” and alleging manipulation of music charts.

In a recent X post, Jagz reflected on the clash. The rapper stated that he intentionally kept his initial response centred on music, emphasizing that artistry, not personal disputes, remains his priority.

He revealed that despite having “many things” he could have said in retaliation, he exercised restraint because he harbours no personal grudge against Davido.

Jagz, however, declared that Davido’s shift to personal attacks and false accusations crossed a clear line, calling for a public apology within seven days.

“Resorting to personal attacks and falsely accusing me of drug use crosses a clear line. I deliberately kept my response focused on the music, because that is what truly matters to me. There were many things I could have said, but I chose not to, as I have no personal issues with you. I expect a public apology within 7 days,” he wrote.
