Alesh Ola Sanni, the Nigerian actor, was robbed by suspected gunmen in the Lekki axis of Lagos state on Sunday.
In an Instagram post, the film star said the incident took place around 5:30 am. He also disclosed that the attackers stole his Range Rover car, jewelry and phone in the process.
“Was robbed around Lekki this morning 5.30am… kindly reach out if you see any white evouge Range Rover with plate AS:04:04 and jewelry…,” he wrote.
In a follow-up post, he revealed that the stolen car had been recovered. The actor, however, lamented that some parts of the luxury vehicle were missing.
He also doused fears over his safety in several other posts, adding that he was not kidnapped as claimed.
“I’m fine but we need security in this country,” he added.
Sanni went on to appreciate those who reached out to him since the robbery attack including Tayo Sobola, his colleague in the movie industry.
“So much was going through my head yesterday, how do I get money to fix the car, where do I get to buy my phones, I cried, was sad cos I lost so much,” he wrote.
“And then Sotee reached out to me, all she care about was (are you sure you weren’t hurt) @sotayogaga I don’t know what I have done to deserve so much love from you but I must say you’re a true sister with a heart full of love and companionship.”
