Adesina took to his social media page on Tuesday night to pen a lovely message to his wife to mark the occasion.

In the post, he described his marriage to Grace as the best decision he made in life, adding that she has impacted him positively.

He also reaffirmed his love for her, noting that he would not hesitate marrying her 36 times over again.

“Today my darling wife and I celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. Marrying my wife, Grace (Yemisi) is the best decision I made in my life,” he wrote on Twitter.

“I would not be who I am today without her. I love you my sweetheart. I will marry you 36 years over. You are the best!”

The lovebirds tied the knot in 1984 and the union has been blessed with two children.

The development comes about the same time when an independent review panel led by Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland, exonorated the AfDB president of all whistleblower allegations.

The panel’s report clears the way for Adesina, who is the sole candidate for the upcoming election, to seek a second term.
