‘Falling Up’, a hit song by Adekunle Gold, served as the closing ceremony anthem during the Louis Vuitton show at the Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday.

The event, which began on June 18, runs until June 23.

Paris Fashion Week kicked off with the Louis Vuitton show at UNESCO headquarters, featuring an outdoor, turf-lined runway.

‘Falling Up’ is a track from Gold’s latest album ‘Tequila Ever After‘.

The ‘Orente’ superstar enlisted US music stars Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams on the track.

During the runway show, Gold was seen in a multi-colored jacket, sitting next to Tems, who wore an all-white ensemble.

Pharrell, who doubles as the creative director for Louis Vuitton menswear,
was busy coordinating the models on the runway.

Other Afrobeats stars in attendance include Rema, Burna Boy, and Wizkid. The Nigerian megastars brought their signature styles to the Parisian runways.

In now-viral videos, Burna Boy was captured exchanging pleasantries with Rema while Wizkid and Jada Pollock were seen together.

Another footage showed Gold vibing as his song was played while Rema, who was seated beside Tems, extended a handshake to him.

Gold rose to fame with the release of his hit song ‘Sade’ and a high-life cover of One Direction’s ‘Story of My Life’.

Throughout his career, Gold has received numerous awards and recognition for his talent.

He won the songwriter of the year award at the 2023 Headies.

In March 2023, the singer was signed to Def Jam Recordings.

He also owns a record label called Afro Urban Records.
