Adunni Ade, the Nollywood actress, has dismissed a viral report claiming she lamented being unmarried.
On Sunday, a blog alleged that the actress, in an interview, said she “remained unmarried despite being the center of attention and admired for her beauty”.
However, in a post via X, Adunni refuted the claim, calling it “false” and accusing the blog of spreading misinformation for engagement.
The 48-year-old film star also issued a 24-hour ultimatum for the false story to be taken down, threatening legal action if ignored.
“I kindly request that you take down this post within 24 hours to prevent further action involving my legal team,” the post reads.
“I do not appreciate the fact that you’re using my name to peddle false news & articles with no verifiable source just to generate engagement.”
