Adesua Etomi honoured by UK university she ‘could barely afford’

Adesua Etomi, a Nollywood actress, has been celebrated by the University of Wolverhampton with her image on their wall.

The ‘Wedding Party’ actress graduated with a distinction in drama and performance from the UK university in 2006.

Etomi took to Instagram to express her gratitude, revealing how difficult it was for her mother to pay her tuition.

“Today, I’m grateful for my university education,” she said.

“I remember how my mum and I would sit and wonder how we’d pay my university fees every single year.

“It’s amazing how God took me from that, to being celebrated and put on the wall by the same university that we could barely afford.

“It may look hard right now but hang in there, there’s nothing God cannot do.

“It will end in praise but remember to put in the work.”

The 30-year-old actress also attended Queens College in Lagos and City College Coventry in the UK.
