Adedamola ‘Adeherself’ Adewale, a social media comedienne, has regained her freedom after meeting bail conditions.
Adeherself was arrested on June 16, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over internet fraud allegations.
The 20-year-old social media influencer, who was earlier arraigned, had been remanded in the custody of the anti-graft agency since July 7.
The commission had also kicked against her bail application days after, prompting Sherifat Solebo, the presiding judge of an Ikeja special offences court, to adjourn the case till July 15 for ruling on the bail application.
Adeherself was later granted N500,000 bail by the judge after which she was ordered to provide two sureties with reliable means of income which would be verified in court.
After apparently meeting conditions for her release, it is understood that the Instagram personality was set free.
Sandra Johns, her mum, took to her Instagram page on Thursday to share a video wherein she appreciated fans for their support throughout the ordeal.
In another post with a photo of Adeherself, she wrote: “To God be the glory, God thanks you for everything, you know the end from the beginning and all glory adoration and honour be to your holy name.”
The comedienne is expected to address her fans tonight.
