Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has celebrated Foluke, his wife, on the occasion of their 55th wedding anniversary.
Adeboye shared a loved-up photo of himself and his wife alongside a giant cake via his Instagram page on Thursday.
In the post, the cleric appreciated Foluke for sticking “with me when we had nothing”.
He also recalled how Foluke chose him — more than five decades ago — over the other suitors who were financially ahead of him.
“My darling @pastorfoluadeboye the woman who has suffered with me, she stood by me when we had nothing. I was the poorest and the least known of all the men after her 55yrs ago,” he wrote.
“But she left all those who were famous, well to do and she picked me. Thank God, God had made us a success and proven all the oppositions back then wrong.
“Here is to 55 more years of double love, double grace, double peace, double of heaven on earth.”

Adeboye tied the knot with Foluke in 1967. The union has been blessed with four children — although the couple lost one of their kids in May 2021.
The lovebirds have been in the news occasionally over their display of affection and love.
