Ngozi Nwosu, the Nigerian actress, has taken to social media to share stunning photos of herself as she celebrates her 60th birthday.
In a series of posts via Instagram on Tuesday, the actress shared pictures of herself in adorable outfits.
In an accompanying caption, she wrote, “Fabulous @60 with an attitude!!🎉 God has got my back🥰.”
Renowned for her role as ‘Peaceful Peace’ in ‘Fuji House of Commotion’, the popular Nigerian TV series, Nwosu’s talent also extended to Nollywood films such as ‘Crazy Grannies’, ‘Knock Out’, ‘Ije Awele’, and ‘Finding Ireti’, among others.
Additionally, she has received several awards and accolades for her outstanding performances in the entertainment industry.
In 2012, the actress battled a serious kidney-related illness that affected her career.
She eventually sought treatment abroad, with support from the government and some organisations.
In 2022, Nwosu opened up about the challenges she faced due to misinformation surrounding her health.
The actress said, “it felt like being buried alive”.
She added that she kept her health struggles away from the press to avoid pity.
“After the surgery, I stood and started learning how to walk. All these happened, and no one knew. I kept it away from the press. I didn’t want a pity party,” she said.
