Mercy Ebosele, the Nollywood actress and producer, and Kehinde Olasupo, her husband, have been blessed with a set of twins.
Ebosele announced the birth of her children in an Instagram post on Saturday.
The announcement was accompanied by touching photographs featuring Ebosele and her husband lovingly cradling their newborn children.
“I am the woman whom the Lord has shown great mercy,” she wrote.

The announcement has sparked an outpouring of congratulations from her fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, who flooded the comment section with well-wishes.
While celebrating the news, the lovebirds chose to keep specific details — including the twins’ genders, names, and exact date of birth — confidential.
The couple tied the knot in July 2017.
Ebosele’s journey in acting began during her secondary school days with stage plays, but she transitioned into the professional film industry in 2003.
Her breakthrough role came in the popular movie ‘Ile Olorogun,’ which catapulted her into the spotlight and led to roles in numerous other productions.
Although she hails from Edo state, Ebosele has become a prominent and celebrated figure in the Yoruba sector of Nollywood.
Her exceptional talent has been recognised with several awards. Her filmography includes notable titles such as ‘Alasela’, ‘Adura’, ‘Tibitire’, ‘Imisi Esu’, ‘Soko Soko’, ‘Ojo Nene’, ‘Anike’, ‘Aduke’, ‘Ibusun’, ‘When Tables Turn’, and ‘Omolade Poison’.
