The duo of Tiwaloluwa Owolabi and Manuela Chimuaya from Holiness Redeemers School emerged second, while Esther Ikade and Briana Adeyemi of Unique Children School finished third, winning N250,000 and N150,000 respectively.

Speaking at the event, Enitan Tanimowo, the director of Kidscook Showdown, disclosed that the success of the maiden edition sets the stage for a much bigger outing next year.

“Of course, the next edition would be bigger, naturally. We look forward to more influence, covering more children. I mean, today we had five schools that came, and we had good representation from the schools. So for the next edition, we hope to see more children in attendance,” she said.
