On October 2, the medical doctor was disqualified from the reality TV show after a physical altercation with fellow contestant Sultana.

The altercation led to injuries, an incident the organisers described as a “clear violation of the house rules.”

In a video via YouTube, Faith recounted that he decided to audition for BBNaija after returning to Nigeria “frustrated and uncertain” about his future as a doctor in the country.

He revealed that despite the overwhelming odds and thousands of applicants, he took the bold step of securing a N5 million loan to get on the show.

Faith disclosed that the experience taught him resilience and self-discovery, as he learned to communicate better, work with a team, and bring people together.

“I returned to Nigeria feeling frustrated and uncertain about my future as a doctor here. But by chance, clicking a link that was sent to me on March 5 led me to audition for Africa’s biggest reality TV show,” he said.

“Against all odds, with hundreds of thousands of people auditioning, I made it. I did the unimaginable to get there; I took a loan of five million naira, and somehow, I made it.

“Yes, people could do things to me, but it’s one thing for someone to act toward you and another for you to choose how you react.

“Still, I didn’t give up. I was willing to explore everything Faith could be, and I did that. I learned to speak, to work with a team, to bring people together.”

The reality TV star further admitted to making several mistakes during his time in the house, revealing that he often felt “overwhelmed and isolated”.

He claimed that he had requested to see a therapist more than three times because he recognised he needed help.

Faith added that despite the challenges, the show helped him grow stronger and more determined, leaving him energised to take on new opportunities with the support of his team and fans.

“I made mistakes too. I screamed, argued, broke things, and failed tasks. I said things I shouldn’t have said. I lost friends, felt overwhelmed and isolated,” he added.

“And honestly, I asked for a therapist over three times because I knew I needed help, and I was brave enough to ask. I’m a work in progress.

“That house hurt, healed and broke me, but I did it. I feel invigorated, energised and excited to take on the world.

“There’s so much I can do and change. I have an amazing team behind me, and the Faithfuls have done so much for me, even when I didn’t know they existed. Thank you, I truly appreciate it.

“This is Faith Adewale, the dreamer, doctor, creator, all-around entertainer and your talented reality star. I’m ready to make magic with you, and I want you to come on that journey with me.”
