Seun Kuti, the Afrobeat singer, and rapper Vector have released a joint extended play (EP) titled ‘Big Bird And Tha Viper’.

The collaborative project, which was released across streaming platforms on Friday, contains six tracks.

The duo also enlist the talents of Made Kuti, Odumodublvck, and American rappers Vic Mensa and Talib Kweli.

The songs in the album include ‘The Matter’, ‘Opp(s)’, ‘Higher Consciousness’, ‘Badman Lighter’, ‘African Dreams’ and ‘Mami Wota II’.

The duo had earlier released ‘Opp(s)‘ off the EP in June.

Seun is known for his controversial stance and socially conscious music, addressing socio-political issues in Nigeria and beyond.

Since his debut album ‘Many Things’ in 2008, he has continued to enjoy positive reception from Afrobeat lovers.

He also has seven albums and several extended plays (EPs) to his credit.

The singer has released songs like ‘Bad Man Lighter’, ‘Opposite People’, ‘African Soldier’, ‘Kalakuta Boy’, and ‘Slave Masters’.

Vector, on the other hand, rose to fame in 2010 after releasing his first official single ‘Kilode’ from the album ‘State of Surprise’.

He is regarded as one of Nigeria’s best rappers and has bagged a plethora of awards and nominations for his craft.
