Timaya, a Nigerian musician and songwriter, has released his first extended playlist (EP) in five years.

The EP, titled ‘Chulo Vibes’ is a nine-track body of work.

‘Balance’, the first track on the EP had been released a week earlier before the EP that was released on Friday.

‘Chulo Vibes’ EP is Timaya’s first body of work in 5 years and his 7th studio project despite releasing singles and collaborating with other artistes.

The ‘Bam Bam’ singer, born Inetimi Alfred Odon, features Afro-fusion artiste, Burna Boy; Tanzanian act, Alikiba; and Machel Montano.

Igbo and Pidgin English is prominently used in the EP, which was released under Dem Mama Records, his record label.

‘Obrigado’ stands out, being a romantic song with a slower pace than the rest of the EP.
