Joseph Aloba, father of the late singer Mohbad, has released a song calling on President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the investigation into his son’s death.
Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, after receiving an injection administered from auxiliary nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe.
He was buried the following day but due to public outcry and an ongoing investigation, his body was exhumed by the police on September 21, 2023, for an autopsy.
In May 2024, the pathologist in charge of the autopsy revealed that the cause of death could not be determined due to the decomposition of his body.
In his song, Aloba expresses his pain and frustration, urging authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and bring those responsible to justice.
In the emotionally charged song, Aloba blends Yoruba lyrics with raw anguish.
“Help me ask them/ Where have they gotten to in their investigation/ Lagos state police/ I was born in Ekiti/ They want to remove me from Nigeria/ Our father Tinubu please help me do something about it,” he sings.

The song has sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some users praised it as a genuine plea from a grieving father, others accused Aloba of exploiting the tragedy for attention.
