Bill Gates, the billionaire businessman, has joined forces with Nigerian rapper Jude ‘MI’ Abaga and skit makers Layi Wasabi and Broda Shaggi in a new skit.

The video, which appears to be a promotional piece for the Gates Foundation, was recently shared by MI on his Instagram page.

“Sometimes you just need another perspective in the studio, and @thisisbillgates didn’t disappoint,” the rapper wrote.

“Man really came through to help me crack Ms. Veno Marioghae’s inspiring track! @brodashaggi and @layiwasabi had to do their jobs too. 🏍️ When good people come together, magic happens – Na together we go win!”

The footage opens with MI in a recording session with his backup singers, working on a song. However, the rap icon seems dissatisfied, feeling that the track lacks a crucial element.

In a surprising twist, he decides to call Gates for help. The billionaire promptly answers the call and enlists Shaggi, who plays a motorcycle rider, to rush him to the studio.

On their way, they encounter Wasabi, dressed as a police officer conducting a stop-and-search operation. A brief but hilarious exchange ensues before Shaggi playfully evades the “officer” and speeds off.

At the studio, MI explains his creative block to Gates, who listens carefully to the song.

After a moment, the 69-year-old American philanthropist responds: “It is still missing us. It is missing connectedness. I think we have to make it and show it that we are all in this together.”

The rapper then asks Gates how he remains optimistic despite global challenges.

The billionaire replies that he balances optimism with realism, believing that with the right innovations, Africa can overcome its toughest problems.
