The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has partnered with the Creative, Reality, Entertainment, Arts and Music (C.R.E.A.M) platform, a cultural and creative enterprise, owned by singer D’banj.
C.R.E.A.M is a platfom for talent discovery and helping young creatives to find a platform and make necessary industry connections.
It was created to give back to the society through talent discovery, content monetization and artistic expressions.
The partnership between the two entities was formalised on Thursday at the Afreximbank AGM Holding in Abuja.
The Afreximbank bank through its Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) acquired equity of the C.R.E.A.M platform.
Sharing photos from the partnership agreement in a post on his Instagram page, D’banj also expressed his excitement over their collaboration.
He also described the alliance as a major step in helping to “empower African creatives”.
“I’m proud to say that Afreximbank and C.R.E.A.M platform have partnered in an equity deal through CANEX Creation Inc,” he wrote.
“This collaboration is a major step forward in our mission to empower African creatives with the tools, funding, and global access they deserve. Content is the new crude! Ooooooosheeeeeeee.”

Afreximbank’s CANEX programme was established to bolster Africa’s creative and cultural industries by tackling key challenges such as limited access to finance, capacity building, trade investment, and export promotion.
This partnership with C.R.E.A.M reinforces the bank’s commitment to unlocking the vast potential of Africa’s creative sector.
The deal is expected to provide a significant boost to emerging artistes, content creators, and entertainers across the continent.
