Mayorkun, the Nigerian singer, has released his much-anticipated album titled ‘Still The Mayor’.

In the body of work released in the early hours of Friday, the singer featured a blend of international and Nigerian artistes.

The artistes on the album include Ghanaian singers King Promise and Olivetheboy, as well as Nigerian-American artiste Rotimi.

Davido, Dremo, Fireboy, The Flowolf, and Michii are among the Nigerian artistes featured on the project.

The tracks in the body of work include ‘Keep On Rockin’, ‘Innocent’, ‘3:45’, ‘Diamonds’, ‘Konko Below’ and ‘Industry Girl’.

Others are ‘Blessings On Blessings’, ‘Reason 2 Japa’, ‘Hold Body’, ‘Woman’, ‘Would You?’ and ‘Jiggy’.

Mayorkun had earlier put out ‘Reason 2 Japa’ off the album.

The project marks his first full-length body of work since the release of his second album ‘Back To Office’ in 2021.

The singer recently explained that the album title serves as a continuation of his previous projects and was intentionally chosen to spark curiosity.

He also described it as his “most challenging” project so far.

Mayorkun gained popularity in 2016 after he released his debut single ‘Eleko’, which was produced by Puffy Tee.

He was signed to Davido’s record label DMW from 2016 to 2021. During his time at the label, Mayorkun released his debut studio album ‘The Mayor of Lagos’ in November 2018.

After exiting DMW in 2021, the singer released his second album, ‘Back In Office’, in October under the Sony Music West Africa division.

Throughout his career, Mayorkun has received numerous accolades and awards for his talent.
