Nasboi, the skit maker turned singer, was involved in an accident during his nationwide plea to collaborate with Davido.

Last week, Nasboi revealed he is on a mission to all 36 states in Nigeria and kneel in each one to seek collaboration with the Afrobeats star.

He stated that he plans to repeat the task in every state, hoping to convince Davido, whom he called “king,” to collaborate with him.

The skit maker explained that he initially mimicked Davido in 2019 to gain attention for his music, but his comedy content took off instead.

He added that he’s returning to his original goal.

Since starting the journey, the ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker has visited seven states, including Osun, Kano, Imo, Anambra, Katsina, Niger, and Plateau.

Nasboi took to his Instagram story on Tuesday to reveal that he was on his way to Bauchi.

In a follow-up Instagram live session, Nasboi, who appeared unhurt, revealed that he was involved in an accident.

The 33-year-old said he had never been involved in a car crash and could only laugh about it.

Nasboi said he would keep up with the journey but wanted to see the damaged vehicle get fixed.

Born Nasiru Bolaji Lawal, Nasboi gained fame through his comedic talents, particularly his viral video mimicking Davido.

Since then, he has entertained audiences with humorous skits while gradually branching into music.

His musical journey began in November 2023 with the release of his debut single, ‘Umbrella,’ featuring Wande Coal.

The track became an instant hit, inspiring the viral “Umbrella Challenge” on social media.

Building on that momentum, Nasboi dropped ‘Small Money’, produced by Deeyassobeatz.

He has also ventured into movies. The skit maker featured in the romantic comedy ‘Dead Serious’, which was released in February.

Last year, Nasboi won the ‘Force of Virality’ award at this year’s Trendupp Awards.

He made his musical debut with a new extended play titled ‘In Nasboi I Trust’.
