Airyn, 29, revealed her gender identity in an interview with LGBTQ+ publication Them, sharing that she began her transition last year.

Born as Aaron, alongside her twin brother Julian, Airyn is the daughter of De Niro and actress Toukie Smith, 72.

She spoke about “stepping into this new identity”, adding that as a transgender woman, “I’ve been visible. I don’t think I’ve been seen yet”.
