Starmusiq, one of Portable’s signees, also gave fans a sneak peek into the making of the song by posting a video on social media.
“Stay Wacko, Odumodublvck ft Portable coming soon,” he wrote on Instagram.
Odumodublvck, whose real name is Tochukwu Ojogwu, initiated the collaboration by reaching out to Portable.
In the screenshot of their conversation, the rapper addressed the singer as “ore mi,” which means “my friend” in Yoruba.
“Ore mi, Gbedu de o,” Odumodublvck wrote.
Portable responded by asking how the collaboration would work and showing his enthusiasm for the project.
“How he go be. Make I send my Gmail?” Portable asked.
Portable gained fame in December 2021 with his hit single ‘Zazoo Zeh,’ featuring Olamide and Poco Lee.
Since then, he has remained in the public eye for controversial reasons.
Odumodublvck, on the other hand, is known for his unique stage performance and genre-mix style.
In 2022, he signed a record deal with NATIVE Records, in partnership with Def Jam Recordings.
In the same year, he put out his first single titled ‘Picanto’ featuring ECko Miles and Zlatan Ibile.
The rapper then released ‘Declan Rice’ – a chart-topping single named after the English footballer.
