Vee, the ex-housemate of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show, has come through with ‘Let Dem Say’, her first single of the year.

The reality star announced the release of the less than four-minute track on her social media pages on Friday.

In the new track, produced by ATG, Vee blends her melody with the instrumentals, alongside a string of very catchy lyrics.

She also appears to be aiming digs at her critics who aren’t satisfied with what she has become of her.

“Not looking for your love/I’m not the house wife type/I no dey cook and clean/ If that is such a problem/ Why won’t you let me be/ Fussing and fighting everyday/I no get time to waste away/I chose peace and gladly went my way/Another gyal can take my place,” she sings.

Since her stint on the reality TV show, where she emerged as one of the finalists, Vee has continued to pull the weight of fame with her music career.

In December 2020, Vee came through with ‘Show’, her first single, shortly after the reality show.

Vee thereafter came through with ‘Young and Reckless’, a five-track EP, where she featured Laycon, winner of BBNaija season 5, in October 2021.

Before her appearance on BBNaija, the singer had released several singles including ‘Feenin’ and ‘Ecstacy’ in 2017 as well as ‘On & On’ in 2019.
