Liya, the Nigerian songstress, has come through with her new song ‘Vibes On Vibes’ featuring Olamide, the rapper.
The ‘Melo’ singer recently announced the song’s release via her social media pages.
In ‘Vibes On Vibes,’ Liya and Olamide blend Yoruba and English lyrics, creating an infectious vibe that encourages listeners to live life to the fullest.
“Ebele ko giitan/ Gongo aso/ Omo tan so na me be chairman/ Kowe kowe lo akade lo/ Shey mole entertain y’all/ Constant k ni this my gbedu/ Shey ni ma shey lo/ Korin be machine gun/ Gbedu nonstop/ Commot bustop oh yeah,” they sing.
The catchy hooks and rhythmic flow make this collaboration a must-listen.
Born Abdulsalam Suliyat Modasola, Liya gained recognition after joining Davido’s DMW record label as its first female singer in 2020.
Her debut single ‘Melo’ released the same year was followed by her first EP ‘Alari’ in 2021, which earned her a nomination at the 2022 Headies.
She reportedly departed from DMW in 2023.
Olamide, on the other hand, is revered as one of the biggest artistes in Nigeria.
In 2012, the rapper launched record label YBNL Nation and has nurtured talents like Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy DML, and Chinko Ekun.
Olamide has garnered numerous awards throughout his career.
