Dee One, the Nigerian comedian, has tackled social media users mocking the testimonies of members of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries.
Recently, some users shared old clips showing church members recounting their miraculous experiences.
In one video, an elderly woman claimed she was attacked by four armed robbers but miraculously gained control of their guns, leading to the arrest of three of the assailants.
Similarly, a man testified that he survived kidnapping, machete attacks, and gunshots “without sustaining any injuries”.
Another man alleged that a lion rescued him from kidnappers by lifting him into the air and guiding him to safety.
The clips sparked skepticism and questions about the authenticity of the church members’ miracles.
In an Instagram video, Dee One, whose message was explicitly directed at Christians, warned them not to incur the “wrath of Lazarus Muoka, the church’s general overseer”.
The reality star, who captioned the post “message to those mocking Lazarus Muoka’s church” also urged critics to seek forgiveness.
He stressed that while some may question the authenticity of the testimonies shared by church members, there is nothing beyond God’s power.
“Please be careful, may you not incur the wrath of Lazarus Mouka, he is not an ordinary man you will be joking with, if you have been laughing, go and ask God for forgiveness,” he said.
Dee One gained fame after participating in the 2018 season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija).
He is known for his controversial views on social issues.
