Ruger, the Nigerian singer, has come through with two new songs titled ‘Make Way’ and ‘Luv Again’.

The music star unveiled the songs on Wednesday. The double release follows Ruger’s ‘RnB’ EP collaboration with BNXN.

In ‘Luv Again’, Ruger expresses his openness to find love. The track was produced by Cole Yourstruly and Kukbeatz.

“I tell you say I no go love again, I tell you say I’m a playboy o, now see me I don fall again, lets give it a try, make we see as e go go,” he sings.

‘Make Way’, on the other hand, was produced by the Sons of Sonix & Freshy.

“Make way you gotta see what I came with, omo make way make I divide you like river Naija, Benue, you tryna leave jor make way,” the lyrics read.

Born Michael Adebayo, Ruger rose to prominence in 2021 after he signed a record deal with D’Prince’s Jonzing World Record, an affiliate of Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.

In February, he confirmed his exit from Jonzing World RecoRd and unveiled Blown Boy Entertainment, his record label.

He is known for hit songs such as ‘Bounce’, ‘Girlfriend’, and ‘Dior’.

The music star has received several awards and recognition. In 2021, he won the AFRIMA Best Newcomer Award. He also won the best new artiste category at the 2023 Soundcity MVP Awards.
