Ruger and BNXN, the Nigerian singers, have come through with a new single titled ‘POE’.
Ruger announced the release of the song via his Instagram page. He also hinted at an upcoming joint project with BNXN.
‘POE’ is produced by Blaise Beatz. In the song, Ruger and BNXN croon about their romantic encounters.
“Tunbo! Tunbo!! Baskelebe which one I go chose/ Just wan nenepo, Ko ma fi mi denge pose/ I say make you dance for me make you no go de jonze/ I swear you de poe/ You no know as e de go,” they sing.
“Baddie, with all due respect/ The brother wey dey knack you no get sense/ Coz he never jam you to full extent/ See you never experience full wetness/ But, mind you I’m God sent/ Baby I go need your full consent/ Show your ID I dey avoid government/ I’m a good citizen of this continent.”
In February, the duo combined to release ‘Romeo Must Die’.
The release of both singles is in anticipation of their upcoming joint EP titled ‘RnB’ scheduled for April 19.
The collaboration between the two artistes comes as a surprise to many due to the previous rift between them.
In 2022, Ruger and BNXN had been at loggerheads over a supremacy battle between them.
The face-off started in July when a fan argued that BNXN is a better artiste than Ruger.
Since then, they have been engaging in a heated war of words on social media while also trying to downplay each other’s achievements.
Both artistes have made a name for themselves and have achieved massive success, both in Nigeria and across the world.
