Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, the Nigerian singer better known as Kizz Daniel, has taken to social media to talk about his ethnic identity.
Shortly after the release of his singles — ‘Twe Twe’ and ‘Too Busy to be Bae’ — the singer engaged his fans in a chat.
‘Twe Twe’ is a fusion of tradition and modernity that draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the Nupe tribe in Nigeria.
With the new sound, some social media users inquired if Daniel shares a lineage with the northerners.
He said he is “half Yoruba and half Fulani”.
So…. I am half Fulani half Yoruba 🫳

That's awesome,@KizzDaniel! Being half Fulani and half Yoruba must give you a unique and rich cultural background. Embrace the beauty of both cultures and celebrate the diversity within you. It's amazing to have such a blend of traditions, languages, and customs. 🌍🌺✨
