Flagboy, the fast-rising Nigerian singer, is set to release his debut extended play (EP) titled ‘LIFE’.

The musician announced the upcoming EP in a statement on Monday.

He, however, did not disclose the release date for the much-awaited five-track project.

According to the statement, majority of the songs in his EP will focus “on the theme of most Nigerian Afrobeat songs — including love, women, money — that will ultimately capture people’s attention.”

“‘LIFE’ the EP is promising and it serves as a launch pad to a career journey that defines the beginning for Flagboy, where he plunges himself into delivering creatively, with production credits on the extended play from Spellz and Freshy.

“The EP is outstanding and from one track to the other, it is full of vibes and a groovy feel which anyone would enjoy.”

It added that the project will examine Flagboy’s burgeoning career and his determination to take the music landscape by storm.

“It tells the tale of a boy confident enough to break into the scene and take the industry by storm,” it added.

The statement also described ‘Man of the year’, the fourth track in the EP, as a “confidence-inducing song that highlights Flagboy as the Man of the Year”.

Flagboy has continued to pursue of fame with his vocal prowess and unique songwriting skills.
