Tiwa Savage, the Nigerian singer, has postponed all her performances due to health concerns.
This also includes her first-ever headline show in London, the United Kingdom — originally scheduled for November 26.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Tiwa said she has been battling “a virus for the past few weeks”.
The singer said she would observe “strict vocal rest for the next few months”.
Tiwa also apologised to Savage Soldiers, her fanbase, while promising to return to the stage after “a full recovery”.
“To my dear Savage Soldiers, I have been fighting off a virus for the past few weeks and was today firmly instructed to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months,” she wrote.
“I will unfortunately have to postpone all performances including my first-ever headline arena show in London.
“I am heartbroken and devastated but I have to do this to save what is left of my voice. I am so sorry. I love you all and promise to be back performing once I am fully healed.”

Since the release of her breakout single ‘Kele Kele Love’ in 2010, Tiwa has established herself as one of the prominent faces in the Nigerian music landscape.
She has also won numerous awards.
