Wizkid, the Afrobeats star, on Saturday night, delivered an iconic performance at his sold-out ‘More Love, Less Ego’ concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The ‘Made in Lagos’ hitmaker treated concertgoers inside the 62,850-capacity stadium with a mix of his stellar collection of songs.
Wizkid, 33, made a spectacular entrance at the venue after which he serenaded the audience with tracks from his two albums ‘Superstar’ and ‘Ayo’.
He also performed some songs from the ‘Made in Lagos’ album.
There were also music performances from the highlife band The Cavemen and Wande Coal.
Bukayo Saka, the Arsenal forward, was at the stadium to cheer up his fellow countryman.
Everton’s Alex Iwobi and Seyi Vibez, the Nigerian singer, also graced the stadium with their presence.
Wizkid’s performance at the Tottenham Stadium makes him the first African artiste to headline a concert at “London’s largest stadium”.
The singer has done impressively well for himself in global music.
He gained global prominence following his collaboration with Drake on the hit single ‘One Dance’ in 2016.
With a huge fanbase, several awards and honorary mentions, Wizkid is among the leading names in African music.
The music star recently teased a new album. He also headlined the Glastonbury Festival in the UK.
