In an interview with TheCable Lifestyle, the actor said he has quit his career as a singer.

JJC Skillz said his new song ‘Black’ is “not a comeback song” but a celebratory track for black history month.

He added that he would like to be behind the scene and give a push to artistes in the industry rather than go back on stage.

“I actually released a freestyle song for black history month called black but ultimately when I released this is not a comeback,” he said.

“So I don’t really have a passion for artistry, I am supporting a lot of artistes production-wise for them to have the limelight but for myself, I don’t have the urge to go back on stage.”

JJC Skillz rose to fame in 2011 after the release of ‘We Are Africans’, the song celebrating the black culture.

The singer got married to Funke Akindele, the actress cum politician.

The pair tied the knot in London in 2016 and welcomed a set of twin boys in 2018.
