Pere Egbi, the 2021 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, has reacted to the confrontation between Beauty and Groovy.
Following their usual Saturday night party, Beauty had registered her annoyance at Groovy, her love interest, for dancing with Chomzy, the housemate whom she doesn’t consider her friend.
“I told you to dance with every other girl except that girl, but even when I dragged her away from you, you gave her a high-five and she started laughing at me,” she said.
In his reply, Groovy said he had been avoiding Chomzy at the party even though she has been all over him.
Beauty thereafter ended her relationship with Groovy, adding that he “has embarrassed me”.
Reacting to the altercation between the now-estranged lovebirds, Pere said they both need to take a break from each other.
According to him, both housemates own the right to dance with anyone, adding that the issue of territoriality is “absurd”.
“Groovy needs to say f**k it and just do him from now on. Beauty needs to actually chill,” he wrote on Twitter.
“The man should be able to dance with whoever, whenever and wherever. Same as you. What’s the territoriality for? Two of them need a break. One week of not speaking and talking to others.”

A few hours before the confrontation, the housemates were seen kissing each other aggressively at a Jacuzzi pool party organised by BBNaija.
