Harrison Okiri, the Nigerian singer better known as Harrysong, says he has lost three huge endorsement deals because of internet fraudsters.
In a post via his Instagram story on Monday, the ‘Baba For The Girls’ crooner lamented about the loss of the deals.
According to him, it was due to fear of the “yahoo boys” who he claimed had been trying to hack into his Instagram page.
In what appeared to be a fit of anger, the 41-year-old singer said he felt like “biting someone’s ear right now”.
“Just because of the fear of yahoo boys and fraudsters in my dm trying to hack my page, I missed 3 big endorsement deals,” he wrote.
“F**k mehn, I feel like biting someone’s ear right now.”
Harrysong has established himself as a popular name in the country’s music landscape with his fusion of Afropop-dancehall style.
He started his career as a music director in a church before going on to release his tribute song to Nelson Mandela in 2012.
He later gained prominence with the release of ‘I’m In Love’ and ‘Taiye and Kehinde’, his two hit singles.
The singer has two albums and one extended play (EP) to his credit.
They are ‘Testifier’ (2012), ‘Kingmaker’ (2017) and ‘Right About now’ (2020).
