Helen Paul, the Nigerian stand-up comedian, says she is now officially a professor at a US Bible university.
In an announcement shared via her Instagram page on Monday, Helen said she’s now heading the art, music, and entertainment department at Heart Bible International University (HBIU).
The 44-year-old comedian shared a video from an event where she could be spotted being named in the capacity.
Paul also shared photos from her induction while congratulating Femi Bamisile, her husband, who she said graduated as a doctor of law from the same institution.
“Such a great honor for both of us. You graduated as a Doctor of law and I was promoted too,” Paul wrote.
“Professor Helen Paul, now the new H.O.D Department of Arts, Music, and Entertainment. Heart International University USA.
“I am now officially Professor Paul Helen. The ceremony was a beautiful one indeed.
“My sincere gratitude to my boss and the university chancellor Dornett Mcintosh Ph.D.
“Thank you my senior Professor Cox our faculty head and all HBIU staff in general.
“Will never forget to say a big thank you to my Atlanta Dean of programming. Yemisi Dunmoye Ph.D.”
HBIU is a Christian institute, which is believed to have an affiliation with the Florida Department of Education for Religious Studies.
Paul was said to have bagged a Ph.D. in theatre arts from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in 2019.

The mother of three was also said to have taken a postdoctoral study in the United States in 2020.
