The pair have also engaged in a war of words on Twitter.

In a tweet on Thursday, the 40-year-old referred to Akan as a “vile mind”, who he claimed always “demeans the efforts of the hip-hop community”.

According to him, the journalist is a “persona non grata” who is not welcomed in the “culture”.

Reacting to the post, Akan alleged that the singer “ruined the lives” of other artists who wanted to be part of the hip-hop industry.

“You see this behavior? This is exactly what they did in the past to multiple artists looking to exist in this space before the internet came,” he wrote.

“When they made calls and removed other artists from radio and success. You ruined lives, Jude. But this is 2022.”

In a follow-up post, the journalist claimed the singer had contacted him to “ruin the careers of other artists.”

Akan also alleged the ‘Bullion Van’ crooner “hates” him because he refused to be part of his antics.

“I’ve stood you up 3 times MI when you wanted to use me to attack an artist, you ruined their career. I refused and you’ve hated me for it,” he wrote.

“Leaking dirt on your artists to further damage their career. You know why I never attend those meetings? Because you’re evil.”
