Gloria Oloruntobi, the Nigerian comedian better known as Maraji, and her husband have welcomed their first child together.
The comedian announced the baby’s arrival in an Instagram post on Thursday.
In the post, Maraji revealed their son’s name as well as his date of birth.
“21/04/2022, Jayden Mensah. Fam, I respect women,” she wrote.

In 2021, the comedian revealed she had a private wedding with her husband in Ghana.
She also announced her pregnancy with a baby pump video shared on her social media pages.
The 25-year-old gained fame on Instagram back in 2016, when a video of her making lip sync videos and miming songs was released by a friend of hers.
The video generated thousands of views across all social media platforms. The comedian effortlessly mimics numerous Nigerian peculiarities for humour.
She has since 2016 become a household name for her hilarious skits. In her comedy skits, Maraji switches between accents and vocal pitches to suit each character she plays.
The Edo state indigene holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Covenant University.
In 2020, Maraji revealed how her ex-boyfriend dumped her for “no reason”.
In December 2021, the 25-year-old skit maker also opened up about her struggle with hemorrhoids since age 12 and her “secret” marriage.
