Erhiga Agarivbie, the Nigerian rapper better known as Erigga, has pleaded with the Super Eagles to win their match against the Black Stars of Ghana.
In a tweet on Friday, the rapper appealed to the Eagles to win the match for the sake of the mental health of Nigerians.
“Super Eagles pls for our mental health sake on Twitter, no let this people win una abeg… I no get power for Ghana people dragging,” he wrote in a mixture of Pidgin and English language.

Erigga’s appeal comes at about the same time when John Dumelo, the Ghanaian actor and politician, vowed to trek barefooted from Accra to Lagos on Saturday if Black Stars lose the match against the Eagles.
“There’s no way Nigeria will win today’s match. If they do, I John Setor Dumelo, will walk barefoot from Accra to Lagos tomorrow morning with my ginger on my head! Super eagles my foot!” Dumelo said.
The Super Eagles arrived in Kumasi for the first leg of the playoff round against Ghana. The match will be played at the 40,000-capacity Baba Yara Stadium today at 8:30 pm.
The return leg will take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja next Tuesday.
The winner of both games is expected to book the ticket for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar later in the year.
