Tricia Eseigbe-Kelly, a Nigerian actress, and Kingsley Kelly, her husband, have welcomed their first child together — after 10 years of marriage.

The movie star took to her social media page on Wednesday to break the good news.

In the post, Eseigbe described the arrival of the baby — a girl — as a dream come true for her family.

The actress also revealed that she put to bed few hours into her birthday after going into labor earlier.

“#ItcanonlybeGod I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes I received yesterday and a Joyous birthday gift that I received from our Almighty father,” she wrote on Instagram.

She went on to appreciate friends and well-wishers who had reached out to celebrate her birthday and the arrival of the new baby.

“We say thank you to God Almighty, and thank you to our well wishers for the out-pour of emotions,” she added.

Eseigbe also enjoined those experiencing similar situation with her in their marriages not to give up, adding that her story is indicative of the fact that nothing is impossible.

“For those that have been on the same journey with me, keep hope alive, God is well able to deliver your bundle of joy same way He did for me. From the Kerry’s, thank you to everyone for your support and prayers,” she wrote.

The lovebirds were said to have tied the knot in 2009.
